Custers HANDY Mobile Guard Wide — approximately 33 ft working height
A modular aluminum scaffold tower for painting, renovation, installation and building maintenance. Choose the working height and tower configuration to suit your project.
Choose the right tower
- Working height: approximately 33 ft. Working height describes reach height, not the height of the platform.
- Frame width: 130 cm. Platform length: approximately 6 ft (1.8 m).
- Base options include adjustable 8-inch locking yellow synthetic casters, 8-inch locking rubber casters or adjustable jack plates. Confirm the base option supplied for your project.
- The yellow-tab horizontal/diagonal base brace must match the tower width and platform length.
- Confirm the assembled platform height, kit contents and required space for stabilizers with Arclight before booking.

Assembly and use
Follow the manufacturer instructions for the supplied configuration. Use the required guardrails, toeboards, access platforms, stabilizers and locking wheels. Indoor and outdoor height limits differ; confirm site conditions and any anchoring requirements before selecting a taller tower.
Permitted loading depends on the platform and tower configuration. Confirm both the platform load limit and total tower load limit for the supplied kit; a total tower rating is not the load allowance for a single platform.
Read the Custers HANDY North America instruction manual.
